The Cargo District Fall Fest

October 21-22 from 12pm-8pm

Come enjoy a family-friendly fall festival in The Cargo District of Wilmington, NC! More than 20 local businesses will be joining in the fun—we'll have trick-or-treating, scavenger hunts, flash tattoos, costume contests, food and drink specials, and more! Read on for a list of some of the things we have in store for this unforgettable weekend:

Saturday, October 21

  • Cargo District Scavenger Hunt (12pm-6pm): find cool spots around the district for a chance to win gift cards! See details below.
  • Hello, Love Pop-Up: Bloomers Petals & Pots + Amber’s Attic + Singing Farms + Luke & Lambie (12pm-4pm)
  • Fairy Hair with Black Sheep Cosmos @ Alcove (12pm-4pm): get some fairy hair, hair extensions, and feathers for Fall Fest!
  • Movie Night @ Alcove Beer Garden (7pm-9pm): Come watch “Beetlejuice” while eating popcorn and sipping on Irish coffee! All popcorn sales and 10% of Alcove’s sales will be donated to “Alina’s Light” (Domestic Violence Prevention).
  • True Blue's Hops N' Harvest @ Azalea Station (2pm-6pm): games, food, and beer!
  • Local Art & Vintage Night Market @ Fermental (5pm-9pm): local artists, food from Langos Needz Lemonade, live music from Scott Horner Duo
  • Crafty Fall Activities @ The Garden Shop on Moss: pumpkin painting, photo booth, food truck (Saturday only), vendor market
  • Halloween Flash Tattoos @ Queen Street Tattoo (11am-7pm): festive pre-drawn tattoos from in-house artists

  • Sunday Scaries with Soundwaves @ Alcove Beer Garden (5pm-9pm): A Halloween House Music Party with DJ sets by Bobby Zee, Octaplus Music, Kaleb Hill, and Connor Simons; costume contest; and giveaways
  • Crafty Fall Activities @ The Garden Shop on Moss: pumpkin painting, photo booth, vendor market
  • Selfie Photo Booth @ PHILM Studio
  • Halloween Flash Tattoos @ Queen Street Tattoo (11am-7pm): festive pre-drawn tattoos from in-house artists
  • Planter Painting @ Bookworm Pottery (1pm-5pm): paint planters (while supplies last), then purchase a plant from The Plant Outpost for your new pot!

Scavenger Hunt Details

Using the scavenger hunt map, find each of the pictured locations for a chance to win gift cards from participating Cargo District businesses! First, pick up a Cargo District Passport from Hello, Love to start the activity. Then get hunting!

To prove you've found each spot, you'll need to get a Cargo District Passport stamped. Once you've found all the marked locations on the map, you can turn your passport in to Hello, Love by 6pm on Saturday. Winners will be drawn and contacted on Sunday.
