Pottery in the Pumpkin Patch: Sculpting Clay at Biggers Market (THURSDAY, 10/10)
Come enjoy a fun, pumpkin-lovin' class!
In this pottery workshop, we’ll create hand-built fall-themed sculptures from scratch in the Biggers Market pumpkin patch. Come and enjoy a creative outing where you’ll make something cherished for years to come! Participants are welcome and encouraged to go pumpkin picking while there. (And if you wish to sculpt something different than the theme, you are welcome to!)
- Included: personal instruction, clay, tools, supplies, glaze, firings
- Instructor: Courtney Mathis of Sunne Ceramics
- Who: Anyone aged 6 and older (children under 13 must be supervised by an adult)
- When: Thursday, October 10 (6pm-8pm)

- Cost: $60 per person

Your piece(s) will be glazed with ONE glaze that is intuitively selected by the staff of the studio. It’ll be a fun surprise!
Your creations will be ready for pickup from the studio at 707 S 16th St, Wilmington, NC 28401 approximately 4 weeks from the workshop date. You should receive a pickup email when they're finished, but if it is eaten by filters, please come by the studio after 4 weeks to check on your pots. Any pottery left at the studio 3 months after the workshop date will be donated, so please pick up your work in time!
YOU MUST SIGN YOUR POTTERY. Bookworm Pottery & Co. is not liable for lost pieces that are unsigned and mistakenly claimed by another student.
Not all pieces are guaranteed to make it out of the kiln if instructions are not followed. Inconsistencies in thickness can cause cracks or even shattering in the firing process. However, the goal is to just have fun, so don’t stress about it!
Tickets cannot be refunded, prorated or exchanged for another workshop due to the special nature of our offerings and very limited enrollment.
