Come enjoy a fun pottery painting session!

In this pottery painting “café,” you’ll get to paint lovely, functional pottery while sipping a complimentary bottled latte from our neighbor, Brighter Days Coffee. No experience necessary! Come and enjoy a creative outing where you’ll make something cherished for years to come!

Here’s how it works:

✨ First, sign up for your painting ticket here like you were signing up for one of our other classes (1 ticket per person).

✨ Arrive for the day and time you sign up for to our new unit at the front of @designworxwilmington (it’s blue!)

✨ Grab a complimentary bottled latte from @brighterdayscoffee and peruse the “menu” for pottery to paint (we have functional options like mugs, bud vases, and teapots--small sculptures may be available in the future).

✨ Select your pottery + paint colors + any “add-ons” and get painting!

✨ Once finished, wait approximately one week for your pottery pieces to come out of their final kiln firing.

Additional Information:

  • Included: two hours of painting time, pre-made bisque pottery, glaze, firings, one bottled latte from Brighter Days Coffee
  • Who: Anyone aged 4 and older (children under 13 must be supervised by an adult)
  • When: Sunday, October 20 (10am-12pm)
  • Where: 707 S 16th St, Wilmington, NC 28401 **PLEASE REFER TO MY PARKING MAP**
  • Cost: $42+ per person (price varies depending on how many pieces you paint)

Your creations will be ready for pickup from the studio approximately one week from the workshop date. You should receive a pickup email when they're finished, but if it is eaten by filters, please come by the studio by the following Sunday check on your pots. Any pottery left at the studio one month after the workshop date will be donated, so please pick up your work in time!

YOU MUST SIGN YOUR POTTERY. Bookworm Pottery & Co. is not liable for lost pieces that are unsigned and mistakenly claimed by another student.

Not all pieces are guaranteed to make it out of the kiln if instructions are not followed. Improper glaze application can cause cracks or even shattering in the firing process. However, the goal is to just have fun, so don’t stress about it!

Tickets cannot be refunded, prorated or exchanged for another workshop due to the special nature of our offerings and very limited enrollment.
