Come enjoy a fun wine tasting experience! Bookworm Pottery, Wine with Emma, and Things to do Wilmington have teamed up for an elevated clay workshop.

In this pottery workshop, we’ll create hand-built wine cups from scratch that will be perfect for your next night in with friends. While the theme will be ILM (think azaleas, beaches, etc.), you can truly customize them to be your own! Emma Evans from Wine with Emma will also have an educational wine tasting for you to enjoy as you create. Come and enjoy a creative outing where you’ll make something cherished for years to come! This is a beginner-friendly workshop, so no prior clay experience is needed. This is not on the wheel, but building by hand, so they’ll be totally unique!

 Additional Information:

You will have the opportunity to paint your own wine cups should you choose to do so in class. If you opt out or run out of time, the studio will intuitively glaze them so it's a fun surprise!

Your creations will be ready for pickup from the studio approximately 4 weeks from the workshop date. You should receive a pickup email when they're finished, but if it is eaten by filters, please come by the studio after 4 weeks to check on your pots. Any pottery left at the studio 3 months after the workshop date will be donated, so please pick up your work in time!

YOU MUST SIGN YOUR POTTERY. Bookworm Pottery & Co. is not liable for lost pieces that are unsigned and mistakenly claimed by another student.

Not all pieces are guaranteed to make it out of the kiln if instructions are not followed. Inconsistencies in thickness can cause cracks or even shattering in the firing process. However, the goal is to just have fun, so don’t stress about it!

Tickets cannot be refunded, prorated or exchanged for another workshop due to the special nature of our offerings and very limited enrollment.
