Mommy & Me Pottery Wheel Workshop (SUNDAY, 5/12)
Come enjoy a fun "mommy & me" class! *A percentage of the proceeds will be donated to our selected local nonprofit of the month: Diaper Bank of NC (UWCFA)*
In this workshop, you'll get to try the pottery wheel with your little one (think "Ghost," but way more wholesome and not at all the same context). No clay experience necessary! Come and enjoy a creative outing where you’ll both make something cherished for years to come!
- Included: personal instruction, clay, tools, supplies, glaze, firings
- Who: Kiddos aged 4-16 & their parent (the parent shares a wheel with their kiddo)
- When: Sunday, 5/12 (1pm-3pm)
- Where: 707 S 16th St, Wilmington, NC 28401 **PLEASE REFER TO MY PARKING MAP**
- Cost: $65 per parent/kiddo pair (you will be sharing a wheel)
Additional Information:
Your piece(s) will be glazed with ONE glaze that is intuitively selected by the owner of the studio. It’ll be a fun surprise!
Your creations will be ready for pickup from the studio approximately 4 weeks from the workshop date. You should receive a pickup email when they're finished, but if it is eaten by filters, please come by the studio after 4 weeks to check on your pots. Any pottery left at the studio 2 months after the workshop date will be donated, so please pick up your work in time!
YOU MUST SIGN YOUR POTTERY. Bookworm Pottery & Co. is not liable for lost pieces that are unsigned and mistakenly claimed by another student.
Not all pieces are guaranteed to make it out of the kiln if instructions are not followed. Inconsistencies in thickness can cause cracks or even shattering in the firing process. However, the goal is to just have fun, so don’t stress about it!
Tickets cannot be refunded, prorated or exchanged for another workshop due to the special nature of our offerings and very limited enrollment.
