Private Pottery Wheel Clay Dates for Two
Want a private date night on the wheel with your honey? We've got you covered.
Clay Dates are back and better than ever! In this 2-hour workshop, you'll get the chance to try your hand at wheel-throwing with a skilled instructor with no other students aside from you and your partner. No clay experience necessary! Come and enjoy a creative, messy time with your significant other, best friend, favorite sibling, parent, or significant other. If you’re over 21, feel free to BYOB!
- Included: personal instruction, clay, tools, glaze, firings
- Who: Anyone aged 13 and older
- When: Select dates (choose via the drop down options)
- Where: 707 S 16th St, Wilmington, NC 28401 (the "cafe" room, not the main studio) **PLEASE REFER TO MY PARKING MAP**
- Cost: $200 per couple
Additional Information:
Your piece(s) will be glazed with ONE glaze that is intuitively selected by the owner of the studio. It’ll be a fun surprise!
Your creations will be ready for pickup from the studio approximately 4 weeks from the workshop date. Any pottery left at the studio 2 months after the workshop date will be donated, so please pick up your work in time!
Not all pieces are guaranteed to make it out of the kiln if instructions are not followed. Inconsistencies in thickness can cause cracks or even shattering in the firing process. However, the goal is to just have fun and to learn more about the process, so don’t stress about it!
Tickets cannot be refunded, prorated or exchanged for another workshop due to the special nature of our offerings and very limited enrollment.
