During this painting party, you'll have the opportunity to decorate pottery! We have a variety of functional and decorative ceramics you can decorate with underglaze (such as mugs, plates, teapots, and bowls, figures, etc.). Prices vary depending on the pottery selected, but the base price listed to book the class will include 1 mug or piece of equivalent value per person (additional charges apply if choosing a larger piece, such as a teapot or dinner plate, day-of). Pieces will be dipped in a clear glaze and re-fired after the session in the kiln.

  • Where: The Cozy Bookwyrm - 1540 S 2nd St, Unit 220, Wilmington, NC 28401 **THE SOUTH FRONT DISTRICT LOCATION** We are on the 2nd floor with Cafe Mata & Yoga Salt. There is an elevator beside South Front Tavern for those with mobility issues.

Additional Information:

Your creations will be ready for pickup from the studio approximately 2-3 weeks from the workshop date. You should receive a pickup email when they're finished, but if it is eaten by filters, please send us an email at bookwormpotteryco@gmail.com check on your pots. Any pottery left at the studio three months after the workshop date will be donated, so please pick up your work in time!

If you need your pottery shipped, please send us an email with your address and a photo of your pottery. Shipping within the USA usually ranges between $10-$25 depending on where it is being sent to and how heavy your package is.

YOU MUST SIGN YOUR POTTERY. Bookworm Pottery & Co. is not liable for lost pieces that are unsigned and mistakenly claimed by another student.

Not all pieces are guaranteed to make it out of the kiln if instructions are not followed. Improper glaze application can cause cracks or even shattering in the firing process. However, the goal is to just have fun, so don’t stress about it! If your piece breaks in the kiln, you will be given a makeup painting session.

Tickets cannot be prorated, exchanged for another workshop, or refunded for private workshops.
